  • Click on the settings icon. Then scroll down and find “Developer Settings”. (On some Gcam mods, the developer settings option is under “About.)
  • Now under Developer Settings, scroll down below and enable the following options:

camera.cuttle.darken
camera.cuttle.extended
camera.cuttle.extended_iterable_burst

  • From the camera’s main UI, select Night Sight.
  • Now turn on Infinity Focus and set the timer to 3 secs to use Astrophotography feature.
  • If you want to activate Astrophotography, you will need to keep your phone very steady.
  • That’s it!! Astrophotography is activated on your Gcam app.

Google Camera 7 with Astrophotography and Night Sight Feature

The Astrophotography feature is only available in all the ported version of Google Camera 7.0. But the GCam 7 and earlier version is not compatible or working for every phone. The developer says that it is only working in those smartphones that are made with Qualcomm chipset and a few other devices.
