Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corp Ltd (IRCTC) launched a mobile application “IRCTC Rail Connect App” which helps users to book a fast ticket and save their time from standing in the queue to book ticket.
How To Book Fast Train Ticket With IRCTC Rail Connect App
You can book an online ticket with IRCTC official website also. For a fast & secure booking tickets simply Download IRCTC Rail Connect App From Here. After installing the app, simply open it.
After opening the app, You will see Login/ Registration page. If you have IRCTC ID simply Login in to your account. If you are a new user to IRCTC don’t panic, Simply click on Register button. Then you will be redirected on Registration page. There enter details like user name, password, name, date of birth, gender, nationality, marital status, address.

After entering details you will have to verify your Mobile Number and E-mail account. After successfully verification, Login in to the app and here’s is how you can book your ticket.
Click on the left menu which shows ticket booking option. After clicking on the menu, Enter your departure, destination, date of journey and click on Search Train button.
After clicking on button, There you will see various numbers of train going through your station
Then select any train suitable to your journey and click on the name of train. Then select your Quota and Click on Book Now button.
Now you will be redirected to Fare details page, Simply click on Add Passenger (Also check the travel insurance box)
Now enter your name, age, gender, birth preference, locality and Click on Done.
Then Check the all details carefully and Enter your mobile number and Click on Book Ticket button.
On the next page, Enter the Capcha and Click on Proceed To Payment button.
Now you will see various payment methods, You can pay the amount through e-wallets, netbanking, Jion money, Paytm etc and pay on delivery of tickets.
