iPhone X To Start Production In India From July This Year

We have hearing and waiting for iPhone X made in India for some time. Amidst various rumors, the recent reports say that it is going to manufacturing in July this year.

From many sources it is claimed that Foxconn will commence the production at Foxconn’s plant in Sriperumbudur town in Chennai, Tamil Nadu In July this year.

According to a report by the Economic Times, Foxconn’s iPhone in India volume production is set to begin in July. But Bloomberg said earlier this month that Foxconn will start production within some weeks.

Foxconn will begin with the iPhone X (range) from the Chennai plant. The plans are to step up production capacity and diversify to even higher models going forward,” said an official close to the news.

From some reports, The production of iPhone will start with iPhone X and is expected to be followed by the iPhone XS and the XS Max, along with the upcoming iPhone models.

The company started manufacturing in India with with the iPhone SE from its factory near Bengaluru two years ago and later it spread its manufacturing with iPhone 6s.
