Facebook’s Voice Assistant Is Coming To Compete With Google Assistant and Alexa

Now a days, Facebook is giving their important time in developing Facebook’s Voice Assistant which will be like Amazon’s Alexa, Apple’s Siri and Google voice assistant. I think this is going to compete all these voice assistants.

Facebook is now developing a voice based assistant to give their users easily voice search and improving experience for its user. The confirmation of Facebook’s voice assistant came from two employ’s of Facebook Google after CNBC got in touch with two of Facebook’s ex-employees.

Facebook’s Voice Assistant More Details

A Facebook employ revealed that “We are working to develop voice and AI assistant technologies that may work across our family of AR/VR products including Portal, Oculus and future products,”

It is not clear to say more about voice assistant but it will be used on the company’s Portal video chat smart speakers, the Oculus headsets or other future projects, CNBC Reported.

 

For your kind information, Facebook developed an Messenger app assistant “M” text-based smart assistant in 2015.  It was developed to improve conversations in Messenger. But the project didn’t get too much attraction so Facebook shut it down last year.

In this technology life, Voice assistants are taking really taking off and In a report, It is clear that voice assistant could grow at nearly 40% annually, Facebook started its project AI assistant “may work across our family of AR/VR products including Portal, Oculus and future products.
