But the most annoying thing is that a unknow player places tent around your resident, and never player the game? If you want to get rid of it, so their tent or house can be removed including Animal Crossing player data.
Animal Crossing: New Horizons- Inactive Player Problem
You are working on your tent or home to look pretty, but an anonymous person places his tent around your resident. Maybe, you are thinking of the landscape around your tent, but another player’s home location is in the way.
There are two ways to get rid of it. Firstly, if the player wants to keep playing on your island and he or she is not changing the location. So you can pay a large sum of Bells to move their house to another location.
But what to do if the player doesn’t want to play the game. You can delete their player data (resident registration). This will help you to remove the unwanted tent around your resident. Also, this will completely delete player data from Animal Crossing and their tent or house will be removed.
How to Remove Inactive Player Residence from Animal Crossing?
So you have planned to delete the player from the game. It would be nice to ask them first if they say yes so you can delete their tent or house from your island easily.
Now, first of all, Open Animal Crossing: New Horizons game and select the player who you want to remove from the game. Choose the player carefully otherwise you will delete another player from the game.
Click on the “-” settings button on the left Joy-Con to go to the Settings menu. There, you will see Tom Nook and he will warn you to get help from parents to change the advance settings. When Nook asks you what settings you would like to talk, select the “Save Data Settings” option.
After that, tap on “Delete Resident Registration.” Now Tom Nook will warn you that all memories of player including their home, money, miles, and all island residents will be removed.
Now, if you are ready to delete the player’s data, click on “Delete Resident Registration” a second time. You will see the last warning of deleting the data, simply click on “Delete It” option.
That’s it!! You will see confirmation that the account has deleted. To switch the account press the physical Home button on the right Joy-Con, select the Animal Crossing icon, and switch players back to your main account. You can see the annoying tent or house has been removed from your island.
